On June 23, 2007 the youth group of First Baptist Church in Butler, Pennsylvania departed for the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for eight days. They will be investing a portion of their lives in work projects and a Vacation Bible School. They desire only to bring glory to the name of Jesus Christ and to share His Grace with others!

Hey Tim, how is the work coming along? Isn't it great to be so far from home but still able to do the work of our Lord. Keep your eyes on Him and work in His strength and your labors will not be in vain. Praying for you all that this mission trip will be a wonderful, fulfilling, and life changing experience that will give each of you a taste of how great it is to serve the Lord Jesus Christ wholeheartedly. Remember God is good all the time. Have fun and work hard for His kingdom, a job well done has eternal rewards. Love and prayers from Val, Ray, Emily, and Anna Hilgar.
Tim, I told you dat water up der is cold, eh?!
I'm praying for you. God has you on this trip for a reason. You just might never be the same. One of my favorite memories of Boot Lake was going down by the lake real early to watch the fish jump and read my Bible. Ah, sunrise over da Boot.
