from Nicoleon Dynamite

As I sit here (finally) before the laptop, I have no idea what to write. I'm sure I could tell you a funny story and relate it to the work we've been doing, but I'm pretty sure Samantha does it better than I can. :) In all seriousness, we have had a great trip so far. Sure, we've spent two of the past three days in a van, but I speak from experience when I say that it's a great success when twenty-two people can travel over ten hours without any major mishaps, eh?
Bible school hasn't begun yet, but already God has been teaching me new things. Sometimes when I stupidly think too highly of myself, I believe that I had seen it all in my first year at Bible college. However, coming back home and traveling with a group of students made up of many who are younger than I am has shown me that I haven't learned nothin' yet!
I'll digress for a moment and give "mad props" to the St. Vincent group. It is really quite difficult to write a blog for the whole world to see. My little sister's footsteps are hard to follow, especially when she wrote blog entries like she did! I guess I could go into detail about what I'm learning, but most of the lessons are still works in progress.
We do have a great group of students. Its been wonderful getting to know each of them better. Oh, I have to end this I suppose, because Dairy Queen is calling!
Love you all, and thank you for your prayers.

P.S. Pastor Jeff, Brett is now calling me Nicoleon Dynamite. And Pastor Dave, have a ball at staff training. It's livin' man! Praying for our staff as they try to master the Heimlich...
