Mom, you'll be so proud of me! I have been wearing bug spray, but it doesn't seem to stop the bugs. My right ankle is swollen with bug bites, and I have a few big ones on my legs. I can't seem to prevent them, and no, I am not taking two Benadryl! I laugh enough as it is already...
To be honest, today was really difficult for me. The team arrived at the community center in Autrain, and we found out that Pastor and Mrs. Joels would be running the main program, and we would be teaching and running games and crafts. That tidbit of news was really the only information we had concerning the next two hours. It was really frustrating for me, because I have this need for a plan and somewhat control. We then found out that we had to gather a few team members for a skit, and that we were having only two classes, instead of the planned three. I'm really proud of the way the other teachers handled everything; the five girls I'm working with are super flexible! Games and crafts went well, but the lesson time was really, really difficult for me. Both groups taught at the same time, and it was really hard to be heard over the other class. Plus, the boys in my class were not interested in the lesson. By the time the two hours had ended, I wanted to cry and sleep the evening away.
I'll admit this: I'm very thankful for Drew. We thought we had decided that we weren't going to do the "Captain Crash" skit, but we found out we were very, very wrong! We had to go ahead with the skit, not really knowing the lines or what was going on. He then sat in on the lesson time to help with the boys, and afterwards, when I was feeling discouraged, he offered much needed enouragement. So, thanks, Drew!
Oh, and the ride back to Munising Baptist also cheered me up. Pastor Jeff, we dicsovered a new hairstyle, and I am so excited to show you pictures when we get home... :)
Thank you for your prayers. They are MUCH needed and very appreciated. The team is doing a great job, and I love working with Susan, Jeff, Debbie, and JR. (I'm even becoming more comfortable with calling them by their first names!)

Hey, you're doing great. And remember what you said about you being right where God wants you to be? Right now, it's in Munising, MI with the Kaylors and Cumberlands. Your strength comes from Him, and He has a limitless supply. We love you, friend!!!!
God has done so much in your life these past few years, and now He's using you to be an example to some youngsters who are just starting down the path you're on. How cool is that, Nicoleon?

Hi Nicole it's me, Anna. Don't be discouraged. God will never give us something He knows we can't handle, and He'll bring us through it to. A verse that always gives me encouragement is Isaiah 41:10. Thanks for all you do. It's nice to know that we are related:) Oh, and say hello to Birch for me!
